“Food is Life”, hence feeding or donating food is an imperative virtue, said Shri Sai Baba in his “Sai Sachritra”.
Shridi Sai Rasoi was established in the year 2000 with the sole motive of feeding anyone or everyone with “Hunger”.
Shirdi Sai Rasoi headquartered in Delhi is an all India registered trust. This has enabled the sevaks (volunteers) of Shirdi Sai Rasoi to perform bhandara sevas (food distribution) around many cities across the country.
Seva/Activities
Shirdi Sai Rasoi is engaged in the strategic distribution of food, which takes place daily in a planned manner. In most cases, Bhandara ( the food) is prepared by the Sevadars (Devotees/volunteers) in the Rasoi (Kitchen) of Shirdi Sai Rasoi, Madhu Vihar, Delhi Office.
Arrangement for Male/Female Destitutes to stay in different shelters per the requirement.
Appropriate arrangement for food and treatment/care as needed for animals/birds.
Providing education support to needy children.
Health support for the needy.
Arrangement of the last rites for unclaimed dead bodies.
Contribution to food provision in the marriage of underprivileged girls.
Arranging Shirdi Yatra for the underprivileged.
