Ganesh Chaturthi, also known as Vinayaka Chaturthi, is one of the most vibrant and significant Hindu festivals celebrated in India. This ten-day festival, marking the birth of Lord Ganesha, is a time of great devotion, cultural exuberance, and communal celebration. The festival begins on the fourth day of the Hindu lunar calendar month of Bhadrapada and lasts for ten days, with the final day being the grand immersion of Lord Ganesha's idol in water. However, the true essence of Ganesh Chaturthi lies in the nine days leading up to this grand finale, each of which carries its unique significance and rituals.

Ram Navami –

All the festivals are celebrated with great joy and extent devotions towards Shri Sai Baba, according to Sri Sai Satcharitra, Baba used to celebrate Ram Navami (Birthday of Lord Ram) on a large scale where Kushti (wrestling), Mela shops were the pride of the festival and all the Hindus Muslims of Shirdi used to celebrate it together as baba’s devotees.

According to Sai devotees, Baba himself was Lord Ram to them, so after Baba took samadhi devotees started celebrating “Ram Navami Utsav” as Baba’s birthday, so as Shirdi Sai Rasoi also does it in a way where we all get together with families and travel to Shirdi together by train with Baba’s Palkhi as yatra every year. Started in the year 2004 with 72 devotees together and went to Shirdi with Palki for the first time and the tradition is continued with his grace extent travel counts of 700 plus devotes traveling together to Shirdi in Palkhi Yatra.

Before traveling to Shirdi, Baba goes to bless devotees at most of the apartments in IP Extention, Patpar Ganj, Delhi in Palkhi as “Bhiksha Yatra” with processions with chariots, Hari-Kirtan, Bhajans, and prayers going all the way. Baba also accepts the Bhiksha.

Shri Guru Purnima Utsav. Guru Purnima is one of the major festivals celebrated with utmost faith and devotion in  Shirdi. Purnima means "full moon" day and Guru means "the master". It is the only festival Baba asked his devotees to celebrate. It falls on the full moon day of “Ashad month” of the Hindu calendar. It is the day when devotees and followers facilitate their respective Gurus- the masters) and seek their special blessings. The first Guru Poornima at Shirdi was started in the year 1910. Shirdi Sai Rasoi celebrates Shri Guru Poornima by offering Bhandara at various places in Delhi NCR and in many states where SSR has branches. From Delhi NCR to Noida, Greater Noida, where a huge number of laborers, helpage homes, blind schools, anatashrams, leprosy ashrams, and many other places, in total, 10,000 to 12,000 people are fed with Paneer Matar Poori, Halwa or Kheer with Ice Cream for everyone and cherish the day with a smile and happiness on their faces and Jai Ghosh of

Dussehra – A Day of Victory of Good Over the Bad ( Evil)

Our beloved SADGURU Shi Sai Nath Maharaj attained Mahasamadhi on October 15, 1918, at 02.28 PM (also known as Punyatithi), and as said by saints, the samadhi of SADHGURU's is to be celebrated with joy, and now all over the world, devotees celebrate it as a big festival.

Baba always wanted his devotees to follow the right path in their lives and keep feeding the human race. Continuing on the same path with His Holy Grace “Shirdi Sai Rasoi” does Maha Bhandara every year since 2005, started feeding from 5000 people to now 45,000 people on this auspicious day of “MAHA SAMADHI DIWAS”

Initially, Shirdi Sai Rasoi started Bhandara by distributing “Aloo Poori and Halwa” in the year 2005. Then in the year 2009, Shirdi Sai Rasoi started distributing Baba’s one of favorite foods, "Khitchari", with all his grace and permission only. As khitchari is one of the most nutritious and healthiest foods and after dropping Baba’s Vibhuti (UDI) in it and offering it to Baba, it becomes “Maha Prasad".

Continuing the tradition, this huge Bhandara preparation starts a month before when all the Sai devotees of SSR collect the required things and raw materials according to the list. We seek devotees to give more raw materials in Bhiksha to Baba.

A day before, arrangements started with planning with arranging barricades for entry and exit to control the crowd and make a hassle-free pick-up of Prasadam for devotees.

Diwali is the festival of lights and happiness. According to Shri Sai Satcharitra, SADGURU  SAI BABA lit diya’s with water in Dwarkamai in his lifetime as one of his miracles. Baba had a fascination with light. He always used to light a diya near to Nimber or Dhuni in Dwarkamai.

Shirdi Sai Rasoi celebrates Diwali with those who are in need of lighting their homes, like leprosy centers, male and female shelter homes, and more. While distributing Laxmi Ganesh Ji idols, oil, diyas, fruits & mithai to leprosy patients’ families and an entire colony of them, blind schools, male and female destitute shelter homes, and many more, so that the smile on their faces can lighten up the society. Every year on Holi, Shirdi Sai Rasoi organizes a program “Holi Ke Rang – Shri Sai Ke Sang” where we all celebrate Holi with Baba by offering “Panch Snan, Multani Mitti & Chandan ka lep and with colorful flowers” to him and then to each other and celebrate like one family all together.
